Itinerary

DAY 01: MUNNAR (TEA GARDEN & HILL STATION)
Arrive to Cochin and proceed to Munnar .This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India.The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations ans the round the year moderate climate make it a little haven for visitors.Afternoon to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam.Speed boating facilities are available here. The Dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other.Overnight stay at Munnar.                                                                                                                          

DAY 02: MUNNARAfter breakfast visit Rajamala-house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Tahrs.Then to Marayoor to visit the Muniyaras(caves) which date back to the new stone age. On the way back visit the sandal wood forests and Lakkam water falls which is accessible by a short trek through the forest.Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Munnar.

DAY 03: MUNNAR-THEKKADY
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady , check in at the Hotel and by evening at Periyar Lake around which the Sanctuary spreads, for boating. This is the only Sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Stay in Thekkady                                                                                                                              
DAY 04: THEKKADY- COCHIN
After breakfast, proceed to cochin. Afternoon a city site seeing tour covering Mattancherry, Fort Cochin and Cherai Beach . Afternoon to the Cochin Airport / Railway station / Bus station for return journey to Banglaore ..
