Day 3 Athens-Mykonos
Today after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Athens and transferred to Piraeus port for your ferry embarkation to Mykonos Island. Mykonos sits amidst the Aegean Sea like a unique jewel handcrafted by time, the Greek sun and an anonymous local craftsman. All that can be said or written about Mykonos would be just too little. For centuries Mykonos existed under the shade of the religious centre of Delos and it had to wait until the 20th century to reach its international status and win a place on the world tourist map. Mykonos, famously called 'the island of the winds' due to the constant wind that blows, is the most popular and cosmopolitan island of the Cyclades and considered as one the most famous islands of the world. The sunlight of Mykonos from its first sunshine of dawn all the way to its last of the sunset is astonishing and supplements an atmosphere of images that seem to have sprung out of a painting. Arrival in Mykonos and transferred at your hotel. Rest of the day is free in order to explore the island.
Overnight at your hotel.

Day 04 Mykonos
Today, after breakfast the day will be free in order explore the island. Among the cobbled streets, next to the churches, behind the freshly painted shutters, through the delivery of island living, the heavenly beaches and the liveliness of the night, Mykonos still keeps its secrets: The happiest different moments for everyone, here, on the most famous island in the world, each one of us makes each moment UNIQUE. Mykonos retains full beauty through the passage of time, and is and always will be a perfect host to visitors, offering unlimited vacation and great expectations. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 05 Mykonos-Santorini
Today, after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Mykonos port for your ferry embarkation to Santorini Island. A thousand sunsets, a thousand memories, a thousand heartbeats, colours of blue red & gold streaking the sky ... this is Santorini island ... Poets have written about it, artists attempt to capture its beauty. Nothing can quite describe ... the unsurpassed magic of Santorini. This tiny Greek island in the Aegean sea, rich in history & steeped in myth, is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades Cluster. Once famous for its seafaring captains & thriving trade from Russia towards England, France & Italy, & even further back in time the biblical volcanic catastrophe of 1500 BC, today Santorini is one of the most popular holiday destinations worldwide. Arrival in Santorini and transferred at your hotel. Rest of the day is yours to spend in order to explore the island and admire the breathtaking view. Overnight at your hotel.

Next, you will sail to the thermal springs where you can dive or step down into the blue waters in order to swim towards the springs (35-36 C). Last you will visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia, where you can either swim, go up to the village or simply relax and have something to eat. Return at your hotel.

About Greece
GREECE, Hellas, officially known as the "Hellenic Republic" is the south-eastern most country in Europe, occupying the
southernmost part of the Balkan Peninsula. It is bordered by Albania, X-Yugoslavia (the Republic of Skopje) and
Bulgaria from the north, and the European part of Turkey from the northeast. From the east by the Aegean Sea, from the
south by the Mediterranean Sea, and from the west the Ionian Sea, including more than 400 islands, which occupy more
than one fifth of its total land territory the total area of the country, is 131,957 square km (50,949 square miles).
The mainland portion of Greece comprises the regions of Thraki and Macedonia in the north; Epirus, Thessaly, and
Central Greece in the central section; and in the south Peloponnisos, a peninsula which is connected to the rest of the
mainland by the Isthmus of Corinth. The remainder of Greece consists of more than 400 islands, (only 149 are
inhabited.) These are Evia, Crete, or Kriti, the Northern Sporades, the Cyclades, the Dodecanisa, Chios, Limnos,
Lesvos, Samos, Samothraki, and Thassos, all of which are spread out in the Aegean Sea. In the west, the Ionian Sea is
where the Eptanisa are found, a group of seven inhabited major islands and three small uninhabited ones.
The coastal waters of the country are relatively shallow and penetrate far inland. Despite its indented coastline, Greece
has fine natural harbours, namely its main harbour of Piraeus, the second largest in the Mediterranean Sea, after
Marseilles in France. Piraeus is considered an excellent harbour in the East Mediterranean waters.

Climate

The climate of Greece is similar to that of other Mediterranean regions. In the lowlands the summers are hot and dry, with clear, cloudless skies. The winters are relatively mild, but rainy. The mean annual temperature in Athens is about 17° C (63° F);

Principal Cities

The largest and most important city is Athens, the capital, with a population of 4,000,000. Piraeus, seaport of Athens, is
the largest port of Greece (second largest in the Mediterranean Sea after Marseilles in France). Thessaloniki,
(sometimes referred to as the co-capital) with a population of 1,000,000, is a seaport and an important textile centre. Patra, located on the north-western part of Peloponnisos, is a major seaport with 200,000 inhabitants. Other sizable cities are Heraklion, Crete (150,000) and Larisa (200,000).

Religion

About 98% of the Greek people are followers of the Christian Orthodox Church of Greece. Although similar to the Eastern Orthodox religion of several eastern European nations, the Greek Orthodox religion is different in many ways as well. The remaining 2% of the population includes Muslims, Roman Catholics, Protestants, and Jews.

Language

The official language of Greece is Modern Greek, which is also spoken by the majority of the people. English and French are widely spoken

Athens. A magical city. The city with the most glorious history in the world, is worshipped by gods and people. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been the birthplace of civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through superb architectural masterpieces.
Who doesn't know the Acropolis of Athens and the history of the most famous archaeological site in Europe have made the world tour causing feelings of admiration from millions of people worldwide. Acropolis is nominated to be included in the list with the 7 new miracles of the world. In fact the trademark of Athens is one of the favorites. The Holy Rock of Acropolis has structures dated back to the 5th BC, the famous Golden Age of Periklis. Apart from glory and grandiosity, they carry Athens' chequered history, which met times of bloom and decline, but still shines under Attica sky and gazes future. Shining like the white of pendelikon marble.
Athens is situated in the prefecture of Attica and reaches up to the peninsula right down to Sterea Greece. It is built in a low land surrounded by mountains Ymmytos, Pendeli and Parnitha, northwards and eastwards, and to the Saronic cove southwards and westwards. The sun is shining over Athens all year around. The climate is one of the best in Europe with mild winters and very hot summers, ideal for tourism. It is located just a few km from the port of Piraeus, the central commercial port of the capital, and the shores of south Africa.
Athens is constantly inhabited since Neolithic Age until our days. 5th century was the time of its ultimate bloom, when morals and civilization surpassed city limits and became the mother land of west civilization. In the centuries followed many conquerors tried to take over Athens. In 1834 Athens was chosen to be the capital of the newly established Greek State and the town that now hosts more than 4,5 million people, was constructed around the walls of Acropolis. Today it is the political, social, cultural, financial and commercial center of Greece.

Athens is a city with different aspects. A stroll around the famous historic triangle of Plaka, Thission and Psyri the oldest
neighbourhoods, reveals the coexistence of different eras. Old mansions, other well-preserved and other worn down by
time. Luxurious department stores and small intimate shops. Fancy restaurants and traditional taverns. All have a place
in this city.
The heart of Athens is beating in Syntagma square. Where Parliament and most of the Ministries are. But apart from the center, there are other areas with tourist development such as Monastiraki, Kolonaki, Lycabettus Hill and a few km from the historic center Faliro, Glyfada, Voula and Vouliagmeni, where you can enjoy the sea breeze. Or you can head up north to Marousi, Melissia, Vrilissia and Kifisia and smell the fresh air.

In Athens and Attica you will find the most important archaeological sites (Acropolis, Odeion of Herodes Atticus,
Olymbion, Roman Market, Panathinaiko Stadium - Kallimarmaro, the temple of Sounion, etc), as and the neoclassic
imposing buildings, true ornaments ( Greek Parliament, Athens Academy, University of Athens, etc). Don't miss visiting
the museums hosting unique treasures of our cultural inheritance (Archaeological Museum, Martial Museum, Byzantine
Museum, etc).
Athens has always attracted peoples' attention. During the 2004 Olympic games proved that, despite all the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, she never - not once - lost the talent. The return of Olympic Games to their mother land was a great success.
The capital is famous, more than any other European capital, for its nightlife. Athens by night totally transforms. The options for entertainment satisfy all tastes. The famous bouzoukia are the leaders in Athenian entertainment. While theaters all around Athens offer a different type of entertainment. Athens is a divine city. Let yourselves to its magic.
